Story

Raised in one of many small fishing villages that dot the Ruby Sea, Ayumu has all the virtues of a good boy raised with strong community values: hard work, kindness, and an unwavering willingness to do good by your neighbor. These were the conditions that helped an active, passionate, conscientious young boy find something to constantly keep him on the move. His energy and talent found the perfect outlet in sailing, at first just doing the work expected of him for fishing, but soon enough proving himself to be an exceptional talent in sail boat racing.His natural athleticism combined with his diligence and perseverance made him one of the best in the region. Which is why his village readily encouraged him to try and find success in the wider world beyond the Ruby Sea. But when he finally set out, he soon realized that outside the Ruby Sea, no one really even knew or cared much about the sport.He was about to give up and go home when he was scouted by the eclectic Kugane-based artist collective, The Crown of Lesalia, who him in and offered to support his sailing ambitions, as well as help him find opportunities to compete. Yet Ayumu was never one to sit idle and he hated the idea of being a burden, wanting to pull his own weight, he asked the Crown to give him any kind of work at all when available.The well-connected company was more than happy to oblige, finding him everything from odd jobs around Kugane, sometimes with mercenary-like work outside the city, and occasionally (much to Ayumu’s surprise) even stranger requests like modeling for art pieces or filling in for performers at the last minute!

Ayumu gets into a bit of trouble because of his trusting (honestly, gullible) nature and lack of familiarity with more 'city' life. If there's anything Ayumu loves more than sport and exercise, it's making friends and being a good neighbour to others. In distress or just need a hand? Ayumu may have only just met you, but trust that he'd jump to your aid without a second thought.

He doesn't go around proclaiming it, but in his very niche sport of Othardian sailboat racing, Ayumu is actually a very big deal. He remains one of the best athletes in the sport but his sudden disappearance has caused a bit of a stir. Were you a fan? Perhaps a one-time rival?

Not quite a vigilante, but maybe close enough to one tht he feels the need to hide his identity when he does so. But what happens when someone catches on...?
